Boer Goat Web Page Design

The CCF Design business started like a lot of the niche Boer Goat web designers by designing a site for a family member. Once we added articles to that site, the site became an instant success, and generated offhand comments like, "Great site. I wish my site were that good". Certainly, some of that was people being polite, but after a while, the comments became, "What would it take for you to design a site for me to sell my Boer Goats?"

At the time, we were on a web host that charged too much money, but it was reliable and had 9 gigabytes of storage space (which was very appealing). The host allowed us to have up to 5 domains on the account, so when James Nave called about getting a web page design to put his Boer Goats for sale on the internet, I started to determine if this would be a viable business opportunity. (Since then, I found the opportunity that formed W2Kx-Web.com and now offer much cheaper rates than when I began.

So, I did some research and determined that most of the organizations that designed web pages charged too much money for their services (about 2 - 3 times what was required). I laid out a 5 page plan for James (index, bucks, does, for sale and contact), and the 5 Page goat special was born.

Since then, James recommended me to a few friends (certainly after making $1250 in his first week, he knew it was a good idea), and they recommended me to a few friends.

Ultimately, it took a year or so before I was "cold called" to make a site from someone who just liked my work (all of the others were valuable word of mouth recommendations).

I have branched off to design a couple of other web sites, including Hunting Beagles, Pygmy Goats and a couple of religion based sites, but my core is my Boer Goat web design business.
