Qualifications
I have designed over 150 web sites. I am in my early 30s, and have a bachelor's
degree in English and a master's degree in information technology. I am currently in the process of getting
a Ph.D. in instructional technology, with emphasis on web programming, database
technologies, distributed network architecture and simulations in a virtual environment.
My parents have been in the boer goat business for six years,
and most of their success has been due to the web page I designed and promoted. In the first
12 months of my first web site, the site generated thousands of dollars
in revenue just from the internet. In the past two years, that site has had over 30,000
visits to the site, selling virtually all of the goats/dogs
offered through the web site. In the summer of 2005, they sold $15,000 in goats in a single month (all from
the internet). Although I can make no guarantees about the profitability of your site, if you
are not pleased, I can give you a full refund for the services
we perform (hosting and domain charges do not apply here).
Several of the web sites I have designed have done very well, earning thousands of dollars in the first couple
of months. Details are on the home page.
As far as computer technology goes, I have spent
the past 24 years on computers (going back to the TRS-80
and Commodore 64!!). I remember having 4 K of RAM and the
excitement of moving from 4 K to 32 K -- there was great
joy in the house that night. I now have a very robust computer network in my house with 5 computers, an X-Box,
and a couple of PDA's.

The web page coding is all written in transitional XHTML, which means
that it is very clean code. Because of this, the site will
display on PDAs and Cell Phones with internet access. I use
a number of different programs to design the site, and can provide you with that list on request. I code using
templates and style sheets, so if you want a complete change of your
site in the future, the transitions are fairly easy. At one point, I
transitioned 170 pages on the old site to Active Server Pages
in less than a week because of the portability of the code. |
